5And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites, for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and at the street corners so that they may be seen by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward.6But you, when you pray, enter your inner room, and having shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will repay you.7When you pray, however, do not babble as the Gentiles do, for they think that in their much speaking they will be heard.8Do not be like them, therefore, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.9Therefore, pray in this way: Our Father, the one in the heavens; hallowed be your name.10Let your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as in heaven.11Give us today our daily bread.12And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.13And do not bring us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.14For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will forgive you also.15But if you do not forgive people, neither will your Father forgive your transgressions.
